The Workers' Compensation Board and the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education present the Mainstay Awards each year. The Mainstay Awards set a standard in the province by recognizing individuals, organizations and employers whose efforts have moved Nova Scotia toward a safer future. Peter Kohler Windows and Entrance Systems was recently presented the 2015 Mainstay Award for “Safety Transformation”.
Achieving excellence in occupational health and safety is a journey, guided by a fundamental belief that one Nova Scotian injured on the job is one too many. We have been working very hard to become a leader in workplace safety in Nova Scotia by being dedicated to the objective of eliminating the possibility of injury in our production facility. We are very proud to have received the 2015 Mainstay Safety Transformation Award on behalf of all our outstanding employees who believe safety is everyone’s responsibility and work safe each and every day.
